The Mantle Building System offers exceptional thermal performance and features a calculated U-value of 0.1W/m2K which far exceeds current and future building regulation targets.
 

 
Because of the superior U-Value rating, The Mantle Building System offers a great advantage in that it requires a much smaller scale heating system which significantly reduces heating bills and, of course, reduces the overall energy consumption within the home in line with demands for limiting carbon emissions. The cooling function of air-conditioning is supplied as well with the same energy saving properties, and the full heating/ventilation/air-conditioning system cost approximately the same as an old-fashioned central heating system.
 

 
It should be noted that there is no need to burn fossil fuels to heat a Mantle home as heating or cooling the airtight Mantle Building System consumes very little energy and provided high grade sustainable double glazing is also incorporated in the building, then a carbon neutral building can easily be achieved by adding other’s proprietary power generation units, such as photovoltaics, or wind-driven energy producers in conjunction with heat pumps or heat exchangers.
