The Mantle Building System is an engineered hybrid between a
Stressed Skin Panel (SSP’s) and a Structural Insulated Panel (SIP’s),
where knowledge of both has allowed the Mantle team to fuse these technologies
with composite technologies thereby creating a new, frameless building panel.

Mantle uses proprietary panel designs for panels, ringbeams and, corners,
virtually eliminating cold-bridging while fasteners are made of austenitic materials,
ensuring they will not rust ... ever.

Load-bearing formulations are made on the strength of the Mantle Building System and components,
rather than as normally done with other building systems, using columns that are relying on timber,
steel or brick point-loads going down to the foundations.
Unlike constructing with load-bearing point-loads,
Mantle structure loads transfer around apertures down throughout
the whole wall and even around corners!
This makes for an extremely strong and robust structure.

The high density, highly insulating dark grey coloured cores in the Mantle Building System
are manufactured specifically for its end use specification with state-of-the-art density
specification procedures added in, rather than using “cut” material mass-produced at an
average density: thereby allowing direct knowledge in how each panel will behave within
each design. This is very important for structural engineers, because it avoids having
to add excess safety variances within the engineers’ formulae
